♦ Who We Train
All Agencies. One Standard.
From the most elite special operations units in the world to commercial offshore operators, the P1AR methodology adapts to the most demanding requirements of the mission.
P1AR has trained 15,000+ aircrew across 40+ countries on 30+ platforms. Military, government, HEMS, commercial, and industrial—every agency receives training built on the same foundational standards of excellence and safety principles to drive favorable outcomes.

♦ Government & Military
From JSOC to local PD
P1AR holds active contracts with the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Air Force, ministries of defense, and state law enforcement agencies. Whether the mission is maritime SAR, border security, tactical insertion, or aerial gunnery—we have trained the crews who fly it.
- ♦U.S. Coast Guard — 500+ operators, competitive selection over 30+ vendors
- ♦U.S. Air Force — 5-year MH-139 Grey Wolf contract, 100+ SMAs trained
- ♦U.S. Customs & Border Protection — 100+ aircrew, SOG updated
- ♦Large Tactical SWAT LE Agency — specialized tactical integration training
- ♦State and local law enforcement — hoist, fast-rope, tactical team integration

♦ HEMS & SAR Agencies
The Mission-Critical Standard
Air ambulance and dedicated SAR operators face a unique challenge: their crews must be mission-ready at all times, but live flight training hours compete directly with operational availability. The SART/TAC simulator pipeline solves this by delivering the majority of training hours synthetically—returning aircraft to the mission and reducing cost per trained crewmember.
- ♦EASA SPA-100 certified training for European HEMS operators
- ♦Full air ambulance program implementation and clinical governance
- ♦AAMS simulator reduces live flight training by 50% while maintaining certification
- ♦Recurrent training programs that maintain proficiency without grounding aircraft
- ♦SOG development and maintenance for HEMS/SAR-specific procedures
- ♦Mission equipment packages for HEMS/SAR operators by platform type

♦ Commercial Operators
Oil & Gas. Utility. Firefighting. Privatized SAR.
Commercial operators—offshore energy, electrical utility, aerial firefighting, and privatized coast guard services—face the same training requirements as government agencies but with tighter budgets and fewer internal resources. P1AR provides the same standard, the same methodology, and the same instructors, all scaled to commercial op-tempos and budget realities.
- ♦Bristow Group — standardized training across one of the world's largest civilian fleets
- ♦Offshore oil & gas — HUET, water survival, and hoist operations for offshore crews
- ♦Utility/lineman — specialized HEC training for power line and wind turbine operations
- ♦Aerial firefighting — Bambi bucket, belly tank suppression, external load operations
- ♦Privatized SAR/coast guard — full program standup for contract operators

♦ Industrial & Specialty
When the Mission Does Not Fit a Standard Category
Some missions do not fit neatly into SAR, HEMS, or tactical categories. Wind turbine access, tower crane operations, high-rise construction support, mining operations, and other industrial applications each have unique risk profiles that require tailored training. P1AR builds custom curricula for these operations — drawing on the same methodology and the same standard that underpins every program we deliver.
- ♦Wind turbine — specialized HEC training for turbine access and maintenance support
- ♦Tower crane — human external cargo operations in dense urban construction environments
- ♦Mining and remote access — hoist operations for personnel movement in austere environments
- ♦Custom curriculum development for non-standard mission profiles
- ♦Platform conversion training when operators transition to new aircraft types
♦ State & Local
State Police. County Sheriff. DPS.
State and local law enforcement aviation units face the same training requirements as federal agencies—but with smaller budgets, fewer aircraft, and no in-house instructor cadre. P1AR delivers the same standard to state highway patrol, county sheriff aviation units, and municipal units that it delivers to the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Air Force.
GSA schedule pricing and flexible delivery options, i.e., on-site mobile training teams or attendance at the SART/TAC facility, make the P1 standard accessible to agencies of every size.

♦ International Reach
40+ Countries. 30+ Platforms.
P1AR delivers training across the 5 continents. Two SART/TAC facilities—Mesa, AZ and Bordeaux, France—provide permanent fixed training bases, and mobile training teams deploy directly to client locations worldwide as required.
Europe
French MoD, GIGN, RNLAF, Bristow UK, Irish Coast Guard, etc.
Asia-Pacific
Shanghai PD, Australasia SAR, CASA-regulated operators, etc.
Americas
USCG, CBP, USAF, Transport Canada operators, South American SAR, etc.
Middle East & Africa
Military and government SAR programs, etc.
♦ Multi-Language Delivery
Training and Course Material in Multiple Languages
P1AR delivers training in the operational language of the client. Course materials, classroom instruction, and practical evaluations are available in multiple languages. The standard translates—literally and procedurally.
This is not a matter of translating a slide deck. It is a matter of ensuring that the crew member who will be calling commands in French, Korean, or Dutch receives their training in the same language they will use in the aircraft. Technical precision requires linguistic precision.
